Now the next Thom Filicia might also be found, as HGTV launches their next reality show, Design Star.

A competition to find the next great interior designer, Design Star features Cynthia Rowley as a judge—fitting, since the fashion designer also launched a china collection at Fishs Eddy and a series of bed and bath products at Target with her partner, Ilene Rosenzweig. Cynthia and Ilene also penned the best-selling book Swell, about their style secrets.

Rowley will share the stage with Trading Spaces’ Vern Yip and InStyle’s executive editor Martha McCully. The show airs next season, and HGTV claims they’ve had no trouble finding contestants—says network exec James Bolosh in a statement, “who wouldn’t want to win their own TV show?”
